The Challenge

The Challenge is a hands-on one-day event for 14-year-old pupils working in teams of four. 
It will provide an excellent opportunity to exercise the Key Skills:

Communication
Application of Number
Working with Others
Improving Own Learning and Performance
Problem Solving

THERE IS NO ADVANCE PREPARATION FOR THE SCHOOL NOR FOR THE PUPILS.

All that is required was that the pupils be at the venue of the school's choice. 
There will be parking for minibuses. 

Pupils can win prizes - a gift token of £35 for each member of the winning team, 
£25 for the second and £15 for the third, at each venue. 
All winners will receive a Certificate.

This year, there is a new prize.  
£500 will be awarded by the South Wales Institute of Engineers Educational Trust
to the overall winning team from the four venues,
to be divided equally amongst the schools represented by the pupils in the team.
